GMAT理想与现实为题目的英文作文Itisdifficultforpeopletoachieveprofessionalsuccesswithoutsacrificingimportantaspectsofafulfillingpersonallife.Discusstheextenttowhichyouagreeordisagreewiththeopinionslatedabove.Supportyourviewswithreasonsand/orexamplesfromyourownexperience,observations,orreading.Areprofessionalsuccessandafulfillingpersonallifemutuallyexclusive?Probablynot,althoughitismoredifficulttodaytoachieveboth.Undeniably,todaysprofessionalsmustworklonghourstokeeptheirheadsabovewater,letalonetogetaheadinlifefinancially.ThisisespeciallytrueinJapan,wherecostofliving,coupledwithcorporateculture,compelprofessionalmalestoallbutabandontheirfamiliesandliterallytoworkthemselvestodeath.Whilethesituationhereinthestatesmaynotbeascritical,thetwo-incomefamilyisnowthenorm,notbychoicebutbynecessity.However,oursocietysprofessionalsaretakingstepstoremedytheproblem.First,theyareinventingwayssuchasjobsharingandtelecommutingtoensurethatpersonallifedoesnottakeabackseattocareer.Second,theyaresettingprioritiesandlivingthosehoursoutsidetheworkplacetotheirfullest.Infact,professionalsuccessusuallyrequiresthesametime-managementskillsthatareusefultofindtimeforfamily,hobbies,andrecreation.OneneedonlylookattherecentAmericanpresidents-Clinton,Bush,ReaganandCarter-toseethatitispossibletoleadabalancedlifewhichincludestimeforfamily,hobbies,andrecreation,whileimmersedinabusyandsuccessfulcareer.Third,moreprofessionalsarechangingcareerstooneswhichallowforsomedegreeofpersonalfulfillmentandself-actualization.Besides,manyprofessionalstrulylovetheirworkandwoulddoitwithoutcompensation,asahobby.Forthem,professionalandpersonalfulfillmentsareoneandthesame.
