专科英语专业学生跨文化交际能力的实证研究
Abstract
Withtheglobalizationoftheworldeconomyandtheincreasingcommunicationbetweencountries,cross-culturalcommunicationhasbecomeanimportantaspectofcommunicationinvariousfields.Asaresult,thedevelopmentofcross-culturalcommunicationabilitieshasbecomeanurgentneedforuniversitystudents,especiallythosestudyingEnglishmajors.Thisstudyaimstoinvestigatethecross-culturalcommunicationabilitiesofvocationalEnglishmajors,andthefactorsthataffecttheircross-culturalcommunicationabilities.Thestudyusedaquestionnairesurveymethodtocollectdatafrom100vocationalEnglishmajorsinChina.ThesurveyresultsshowedthatthevocationalEnglishmajorshadacertainlevelofcross-culturalcommunicationabilities,butthereisstillroomforimprovement.Theresultsalsoshowedthatfactorssuchaslanguageproficiency,culturalbackground,studyabroadexperience,andcross-culturalcommunicationtraininghaveasignificantimpactonthecross-culturalcommunicationabilitiesofvocationalEnglishmajors.Inconclusion,thestudysuggeststhatvocationalEnglishmajorsshouldimprovetheirlanguageproficiencyandculturalknowledge,increasetheirexposuretodifferentcultures,andreceivemoretargetedcross-culturalcommunicationtraining,inordertoenhancetheircross-culturalcommunicationabilities.

Introduction
Cross-culturalcommunicationhasbecomeincreasinglyimportantastheworldhasbecomemoreglobalizedandinterconnected.Withtherapiddevelopmentoftheglobaleconomy,internationalbusiness,andinternationalcooperationandcommunication,thesignificanceofcross-culturalcommunicationcannotbeoveremphasized.Cross-culturalcommunicationreferstotheabilitytocommunicateeffectivelywithpeoplefromdiverseculturalbackgrounds.Itinvolvesunderstandingtheculturaldifferencesbetweenpeople,andadjustingone'scommunicationstyleaccordingly,inordertoachieveeffectivecommunication.
