1.TheoreticalBasisofTask-basedTeaching
1.1TheCommunicativeLanguageTeaching(CLT)Approach
Task-basedteachingisbasedonthecommunicativelanguageteaching(CLT)approach,whichfocusesoncommunicationandlanguageuseinreal-lifesituations.CLTvaluesstudent-centeredactivitiesandemphasizestheimportanceoftasksinteaching.ItencouragesstudentstoactivelyparticipateinlanguagelearninganduseEnglishinmeaningfulcontexts.
1.2TheConstructivistLearningTheory
Task-basedteachingalsoalignswiththeconstructivistlearningtheory,whichsuggeststhatlearnersconstructtheirownknowledgethroughactiveengagementwithtasksandreal-lifesituations.Thisapproachemphasizestheroleofstudentsasactivelearnersratherthanpassiverecipientsofinformation.Task-basedteachingprovidesopportunitiesforstudentstoconstructknowledgebycompletingauthentictasksandsolvingproblems.
2.PrinciplesofTask-basedTeachinginEnglishMajor
