Introduction
Inrecentyears,thereformofEnglishteachinginhighereducationhasbecomeahottopicamongeducators.Thetraditionalgrammar-translationmethodhasbeengraduallyreplacedbytask-basedteaching,whichemphasizesthepracticalapplicationoflanguageskills.However,thetask-basedteachingmethodinEnglishmajoreducationstillneedstobefurtherexploredandimproved.ThispaperaimstoexplorethereformofintegratedEnglishtask-basedteachinginEnglishmajor,discussingitstheoreticalbasisandpracticalimplications.
1.TheoreticalBasisofTask-basedTeaching
1.1TheCommunicativeLanguageTeaching(CLT)Approach
