Youwillbelisteningtoapre-recordedCD-ROM,andthepassagesthatyouhearwillincreaseindifficultyasyougothroughthetest.

Purposeofthetest
TheIELTSListeningtestisdesignedtoassessawiderangeoflisteningskills,includinghowwellyou
understandmainideasandspecificfactualinformation
recognisetheopinions,attitudesandpurposeofaspeaker
followthedevelopmentofanargument
Timing
TheIELTSListeningtesttakesapproximately30minutes,andyouareallowedanextra10minutestotransferyouranswersfromyourquestionbooklettoyouranswersheet.

TheIELTSListeningtestisbrokendownintofoursections:
