Introduction:
Englishlanguagelearningisbecomingincreasinglyimportantintoday'sglobalizedworld.However,non-EnglishmajorstudentsinvocationalcollegesoftenfacedifficultiesandexperienceanxietywhenlearningEnglish.ThisstudyaimstoexplorethedifferencesinEnglishanxietyamongnon-Englishmajorstudentsinvocationalcolleges,aswellasthefactorscontributingtothisanxiety.
Methodology:
Toconductthisresearch,amixedmethodsapproachwillbeemployed.Thestudywillinvolvebothquantitativeandqualitativedatacollectionmethods.Aquestionnairewillbedistributedtoasampleofnon-EnglishmajorstudentsinvocationalcollegestomeasuretheirlevelsofEnglishanxiety.Additionally,interviewswillbeconductedwithasub-sampleofstudentstogainadeeperunderstandingofthefactorscausinganxiety.
Results:
ThequantitativeanalysisofthequestionnaireresponseswillprovidestatisticaldataonthelevelsofEnglishanxietyamongnon-Englishmajorstudents.Thiswillhelpidentifyanysignificantdifferencesinanxietylevelsbasedonfactorssuchasgender,academicperformance,andEnglishlanguageproficiency.ThequalitativeanalysisoftheinterviewswillprovideinsightsintotheunderlyingcausesofEnglishanxiety,suchaslanguageself-efficacy,fearofmakingmistakes,andlackofexposuretoEnglishoutsidetheclassroom.
Discussion:
ThefindingsofthisstudywillshedlightonthedifferencesinEnglishanxietyexperiencedbynon-Englishmajorstudentsinvocationalcolleges.ItwillalloweducatorsandpolicymakerstodeveloptargetedstrategiestoalleviateEnglishanxietyandimproveEnglishlanguagelearningoutcomes.Forexample,byaddressingstudents'lackofconfidenceandfearofmakingmistakes,strategiessuchascommunicativelanguageteachingandprovidingasupportivelearningenvironmentcanbeimplemented.
Conclusion:
Englishanxietyisasignificantissuethataffectsthelearningoutcomesofnon-Englishmajorstudentsinvocationalcolleges.ByunderstandingthedifferentfactorscontributingtoEnglishanxietyanddevelopingeffectivesupportstrategies,educatorscanhelp
