Introduction:
Withtherapidgrowthofmobiledatatrafficandtheincreasingdemandforhigh-speedandreliablemobilecommunicationservices,4GLong-TermEvolution(LTE)technologyhasbecomeprevalentworldwide.TimeDivision-LongTermEvolution(TD-LTE)isoneofthekeyLTEtechnologies,whichprovideshighdatathroughputandlowlatency.However,alongwithitsadvantages,TD-LTEalsofaceschallengesrelatedtointerference,whichcansignificantlyaffectsystemperformanceanduserexperience.
ThispaperaimstoanalyzeTD-LTEinterferenceanddiscussdifferentinterferencecontroltechniquesthatcanhelpmitigatetheinterferenceinTD-LTEnetworks.ThepaperwillstartbyintroducingtheconceptofinterferenceinTD-LTEnetworks,followedbyanexaminationofthefactorsthatcontributetointerference.Then,variousinterferencecontroltechniqueswillbediscussed,includingfrequencyplanning,powercontrol,interferencecoordination,andadvancedantennatechnologies.
1.InterferenceinTD-LTENetworks:
InterferenceinTD-LTEnetworksreferstothedegradationofthedesiredsignalqualitycausedbyotherunwantedsignals.Interferencecanbecategorizedintoco-channelinterference(CCI),adjacentchannelinterference(ACI),andinter-cellinterference(ICI).CCIoccurswhenmultipleuserssharethesamefrequencyresource,ACIhappenswhenthereisinsufficientguardbandbetweenadjacentchannels,andICIoccursduetosignaloverlapfromneighboringcells.
