ADCP在宜昌站应用研究
ABSTRACT
AcousticDopplerCurrentProfilers(ADCPs)havebeenwidelyusedinriverflowmonitoring,offeringadvantagesintermsofhighdataaccuracy,temporalresolution,andspatialcoverage.ThispaperpresentsanapplicationresearchofADCPsinYichangStation,locatedontheYangtzeRiver.TheresearchaimstoevaluatetheperformanceofADCPsinmeasuringwatervelocityanditsimpactonriverflowmonitoring.
INTRODUCTION
Astheworld'sthird-longestriver,theYangtzeRiverplaysacrucialroleinChina'seconomyandecosystem.Tomaintainitshealthydevelopment,efficientrivermonitoringandmanagementarerequired.ADCPs,asapromisingtechnology,havebeenappliedtomonitorwatervelocityanddischargeintheYangtzeRiver.TheYichangStation,locatedbetweentheThreeGorgesDamandtheGezhoubaDamontheYangtzeRiver,isanessentialmonitoringstation.Thestationmonitorsparameterssuchaswaterlevel,temperature,andwatervelocitytoprovidevaluableinformationforfloodcontrol,navigation,andhydropowergeneration.
MATERIALSANDMETHODS
ThemonitoringsystematYichangStationconsistsofseveralADCPsandwaterlevelgauges.TheADCPsaremountedonbridgesandmeasurevelocityprofilesatvariousdepths.Thedepthrangevariesfrom0.5metersto30meters,coveringtheentirewatercolumninthearea.ThetypeofADCPsusedistheTRDI600kHzRioGrandesystem,whichisequippedwithfourbeamstocalculatethevelocityinthreedimensions.TheADCPdataarecollectedandprocessedbytheADCPWorkhorsesoftware.
TotestthedataaccuracyandreliabilityofADCPs,afieldexperimentwasconductedatYichangStationinJuly2021.Theexperimentconsistedoftwoparts:velocitycalibrationandvelocitycomparison.VelocitycalibrationaimedtoderiveaprecisevelocitycoefficientforeachADCPtoconvertrawdataintowatervelocity.ThevelocitycomparisonaimedtocompareADCPvelocitydatawiththevelocitydatacollectedbycurrentmetersatthesamelocationandtime.
RESULTS
TheresultsofthevelocitycalibrationshowedthatADCPshadahighlevelofdataaccuracy,withthevelocitycoefficientrangingfrom0.98to1.01.TheresultsofvelocitycomparisonshowedthatADCPvelocitydataagreedwellwithcurrentmeterdata,withacorrelationcoefficientof0.96
