Thispaperaimstoinvestigatethecorrosionbehaviorofheat-resistantalloysinhigh-temperatureCO2environments.Theresearchprovidesacomprehensiveoverviewofthefactorsaffectingcorrosion,includingtemperature,CO2concentration,andalloycomposition.Variouscharacterizationtechniquesareutilizedtoevaluatecorrosionresistance,includingweightloss,electrochemicalmeasurements,andsurfaceanalysis.Furthermore,themechanismsresponsibleforcorrosionareelucidated,aidinginthedevelopmentofeffectivecorrosionmitigationstrategies.
1.Introduction
Heat-resistantalloysarewidelyusedinapplicationssuchaspowergeneration,petrochemicalindustry,andaerospace,wheretheyareexposedtohightemperatures,aggressiveatmospheres,andcorrosivesubstances.CO2environmentshavegainedparticularattentionduetotheirhighcorrosivity,especiallyatelevatedtemperatures.Thiscorrosioncanleadtomaterialdegradation,structuralfailure,andultimately,economiclosses.Therefore,understandingthecorrosionbehaviorofheat-resistantalloysinhigh-temperatureCO2conditionsisessential.
