Abstract
Withthedevelopmentoftechnology,thecommunicationsystemhasbecomeanimportantpartofthepowersystem,providinganefficientandconvenientwayforpowermanagement.Tooptimizethecommunicationbandwidthandreducethetransmissiondelayofpowersystemcommunication,datacompressiontechnologyhasbeenwidelyapplied.Thispaperwillanalyzetheadvantagesandapplicationsofdatacompressiontechnologyinpowersystemcommunication,includingthedifferentdatacompressionmethods,theimplementationofdatacompressiontechnologyinpowersystemcommunication,andtheproblemsthatmaybeencountered.
Introduction
Apowersystemisacomplexsystemthatrequiresreal-timemanagementandmonitoringtoensurethesafeandstableoperationofthepowergrid.Anefficientcommunicationsystemisthekeytoachievethereal-timeandreliableexchangeofinformation.However,thecommunicationbandwidthislimited,andthetransmissiondelaymaybelarge,whichmayaffectthestabilityandsecurityofthepowersystem.Therefore,datacompressiontechnologyisusedtoreducethesizeofthedatatransmitted,improvetheefficiencyofdatatransmission,andreducethedelayofdatatransmissioninthecommunicationsystem.
AdvantagesofDataCompressionTechnology
Datacompressiontechnologyiswidelyusedinthefieldofdatatransmissionduetoitsadvantagesofhighefficiencyandlowbandwidthusage.Themainadvantagesofdatacompressiontechnologyinpowersystemcommunicationareasfollows.
