Withtheadvancementoftechnology,computersciencehasbecomeoneofthemostrapidly-growingfieldsintheworld.Asanintegralsubjectinthefield,computersciencelanguagehasbecomeaninseparablepartofthesubject.Computersciencelanguage,otherwiseknownascomputerspecializedEnglish,referstothelanguageusageinthefieldofcomputerscience.Itinvolvestechnicalterminologies,abbreviations,andjargonusedinthesubjectarea.Forstudentstocommunicateefficientlyinthesubjectarea,theymustbeabletousecomputerspecializedEnglishfluently.ThisresearchpaperhighlightsthesignificanceofcomputerspecializedEnglishandtheapproachesthatuniversitiescanadopttoenhancetheteachingofcomputerspecializedEnglishincomputerscience.
ImportanceofcomputerspecializedEnglishincomputerscience
TheneedforlearnersofcomputersciencetousecomputerspecializedEnglishisevidentintheincreaseduseoftechnologyinvariousaspectsoflife.Inrecentyears,theuseofcomputerstoconducttransactions,storeinformation,andanalyzedatahasbecomeuniversal(Zhu,2017).Consequently,thedemandforcomputerprofessionalshasincreased,makingitcrucialforcomputersciencestudentstobealerttotheirlanguageusage.Thecomputerscienceindustryhasauniquesetoftechnicalterminologies,andstudentsmustusecomputerspecializedEnglishtounderstanddifferentconcepts.WithoutmasteringcomputerspecializedEnglish,computersciencestudentswouldfacedifficultiescomprehendingtechnicalconceptsinprogramming,softwaredevelopment,andsystemmanagement.Besides,computerprofessionalsneedtocooperatewithcolleaguesglobally,andusingastandardlanguageensuresefficiencyincommunicationintheglobalmarket.

Adoptingastudent-centredapproach
