Abstract:
Thedevelopmentofanefficientaircraftassemblyinspectioninformationsystemisoneofthemostcrucialundertakingsforanyairlinecompany.ThispaperproposestheuseofPHPandPostgreSQLtocreateareliableandefficientaircraftassemblyinspectioninformationsystem.Thesystemdevelopedinthispaperwillhelpairlinesmonitortheentireaircraftassemblyprocessandensurethateachstageoftheprocessiscompletedaccordingtotherequiredstandards.Thesystemwillalsoassistingeneratingreportsthatcanbeusedforfutureauditingoftheassemblyprocess.
Introduction:
Aircraftassemblyisacomplexandintricateprocessthatrequiresalotofprecisionandattentiontodetail.Ensuringthateachstageoftheassemblyprocessmeetstherequiredstandardsisofutmostimportanceforanyairlinecompany.Theuseofmoderntechnology,suchasPHPandPostgreSQL,hasmadeiteasiertodevelopaircraftassemblyinspectioninformationsystemsthatcanhelpstreamlinetheassemblyprocessandminimizeerrors.Thesystemdevelopedinthispaperisproposedtoassistairlinecompaniestoautomatetheinspectionprocessandmonitortheassemblyprocessfromendtoend.
Design:
Theproposedaircraftassemblyinspectioninformationsystemconsistsofthreemaincomponents:adatabase,awebinterfaceandareportingmodule.Thesystemisdesignedtomonitortheentireassemblyprocessfromthemomenttheaircraftpartsentertheproductionlinetothefinalinspectionanddeliveryofthefinishedproduct.Thedatabaseiswhereallthedatacollectedduringeachstageoftheassemblyprocessisstored.
Thewebinterfaceisusedbythesystemoperatorstoinputdataandmonitortheprogressoftheassemblyprocess.Thewebinterfaceisdesignedtobeuser-friendlyandprovideseasytousetoolsfortheoperatorstoinputdataoneachstageoftheassemblyprocess.Thereportingmoduleisresponsibleforgeneratingreportsbasedonthedatacollectedduringtheassemblyprocess.Thereportsgeneratedbythesystemcanbeusedforauditingpurposesorforfutureanalysisoftheassemblyprocess.
Implementation:
TheproposedaircraftassemblyinspectioninformationsystemisimplementedusingacombinationofPHPandPostgreSQL.TheuseofPostgreSQLgivesthesystemtheab
