Abstract:
Wetlandsareimportantecologicalresourcesthatprovidenumerousecosystemservices,suchaswaterpurification,carbonsequestration,andhabitatforvariousspecies.However,withtheincreasingdemandforagriculturalandurbandevelopment,wetlandreclamationhasbecomeacommonpractice.Thisstudyaimstoinvestigatethevariationsinsoilironcontentinwetlandswithdifferentreclamationyears.Theresultswillcontributetoourunderstandingoftheimpactofwetlandreclamationonsoilirondynamicsandcanbeusedasareferenceforwetlandmanagementandconservationefforts.
1.Introduction
1.1Background
Wetlandsarecharacterizedbytheiruniquehydrologicalandsoilconditions,whichsupportsthegrowthofadiverserangeofvegetation.Theseecosystemsoftenaccumulateasignificantamountofironintheirsoils,whichplaysacrucialroleinmanysoilprocessesandbiogeochemicalcycles.
1.2Objectives
Thisstudyaimstoanalyzethechangesinsoilironcontentinwetlandareasthathaveundergonedifferentreclamationyears.Byexaminingtheirondynamicsinthesoil,wecandeterminetheimpactofwetlandreclamationonsoilpropertiesandassesspotentialmanagementstrategiesforwetlandconservation.
