Abstract
Inrecentyears,polymerfloodinghasbecomeaneffectivemethodforenhancingoilrecoveryinmatureoilfields.However,duetothecomplexreservoirconditions,theoptimizationofpolymerfloodingparametershasbecomeaveryimportantresearchtopic.Inthispaper,weproposedamethodtooptimizetheapplicationofpolymerfloodingparametersbystudyingtheeffectofflowresistancecoefficientonthedisplacementefficiencyofpolymerflooding.Wefirstintroducedtheconceptofflowresistancecoefficientandthenanalyzeditsimpactontheperformanceofpolymerfloodinginoilrecovery.Basedonlaboratoryexperimentaldata,weestablishedarelationshipbetweentheflowresistancecoefficientandthedisplacementefficiencyofpolymerflooding.Furthermore,wediscussedtheoptimizationoftheapplicationofpolymerfloodingparametersfromtheperspectiveofflowresistancecoefficient,providinganewmethodfortheoptimizationofpolymerfloodingparameters.
Introduction
Intheprocessofpetroleumexploitation,therecoveryrateofoilisrelativelylow,andtheremainingoilafterwaterfloodingisdifficulttoexploit.Inrecentyears,polymerfloodinghasbecomeanimportantmethodforenhancingoilrecoveryinmatureoilfields.Throughtheintroductionofhighmolecularweightpolymers,themobilityratiooftheinjectedwaterandtheresidualoilcanbereduced,therebyincreasingthedisplacementefficiencyandimprovingtheoilrecoveryrate.However,duetothecomplexreservoirconditions,theoptimizationofpolymerfloodingparametershasbecomeaveryimportantresearchtopic.Theimproperapplicationofpolymerfloodingparameterswillcausetherecoveryefficiencytodecreaseorevenfailtoachievetheexpectedresults.Therefore,itisnecessarytostudytheoptimizationofpolymerfloodingparameters.
