Introduction: Refractorycoatingsplayavitalroleinindustriesthatrequirehigh-temperatureprocesses,suchassteelmaking,glassmanufacturing,andpetrochemicalproduction.Thesecoatingsareappliedtosurfaces,suchasfurnaces,kilns,andotherheat-generatingequipment,tominimizeheatlossesandmaintainoptimaloperatingtemperatures.Thethermalinsulationpropertiesofrefractorycoatingsdependonvariousfactors,includingthecomposition,particlesize,anddistributionoftheconstituents.Inparticular,thepresenceofaluminaintherefractorycoatinghasbeenfoundtosignificantlyimpactitsinsulationperformance.Thisstudyaimstoinvestigatetheeffectofvaryingaluminacontentonthethermalinsulationpropertiesofrefractorycoatings.
