Abstract
Thebucket-shapedfoundationiswidelyusedincivilengineering,anditsbendingmomentbearingcapacityisanessentialfactorthatdeterminesitsstability.Inthispaper,wereviewtheresearchonthebendingmomentbearingcapacityofbucket-shapedfoundations,includingthecalculationandanalysismethods,designconsiderationsandoptimizationtechniques.Theresultsshowthatthebendingmomentbearingcapacityofthebucket-shapedfoundationisinfluencedbyvariousfactorssuchassoilconditions,geometryparametersandloadingconditions.Theoptimizationoftheseparameterscaneffectivelyimprovethebendingmomentbearingcapacityofthefoundation.Thisstudyprovidesausefulreferenceforthedesignandanalysisofbucket-shapedfoundations.
