Introduction:
Thehumanbrainisacomplexorganthatplaysavitalroleintheregulationofemotions.Understandingtheneuralmechanismsunderlyingemotionalstatesiscrucialfordevelopingeffectiveinterventionsforvariouspsychologicaldisorders.Overtheyears,technologicaladvancementsinthefieldofneurosciencehaveprovidednewinsightsintothestudyofemotions.Thispaperaimstoexplorethehemisphereasymmetryofbrainemotionalstatesbycombiningelectroencephalogram(EEG)signalsandvirtualtechnology.
1.Electroencephalogram(EEG)Signals:
EEGisanon-invasivetechniquethatmeasuresandrecordstheelectricalactivityofthebrain.Itprovidesvaluableinformationregardingbrainfunctionandcanbeusedtostudyemotionalstates.DifferentfrequencybandsofEEGsignals,suchasalpha,beta,theta,andgammawaves,areknowntobeassociatedwithspecificemotionalstates.Byanalyzingtheactivityinthesefrequencybands,wecangaininsightsintotheemotionalexperiencesofindividuals.
