Abstract:
Inthispaper,weexploretheapplicationofMatlabprogramminglanguageinsolvingnetworkmaximumflowproblems.Networkflowproblemsoftenariseinvariousfields,suchastransportation,logistics,telecommunication,andcomputernetworks.Themaximumflowproblemisafundamentalandwidelystudiedprobleminnetworkoptimizationtheory.Matlaboffersaconvenientandefficientplatformforimplementingalgorithmsthatsolvenetworkmaximumflowproblems.Inthispaper,wewilldiscussthebasicconceptsofnetworks,maximumflowproblems,andhowMatlabcanbeutilizedtosolvetheseproblems.WewillalsocoversomeexamplesandcasestudiestoillustratethepracticalapplicationofMatlabinnetworkmaximumflow.
1.Introduction:
Networkflowproblemsinvolvefindingtheflowofgoodsorresourcesthroughanetworkofinterconnectednodesandedges.Themaximumflowproblemspecificallyaimstodeterminethemaximumamountofflowthatcanbesentfromasourcenodetoadestinationnodeinagivennetwork.Thisproblemhasnumerousreal-worldapplications,suchasoptimizingtrafficflowintransportationsystems,routingdatapacketsincomputernetworks,ordesigningefficientsupplychainnetworks.
2.BasicConcepts:
