Abstract:
2,3-epoxyketones,alsoknownasα,β-epoxyketones,areversatilemoleculesthathaveshowngreatpotentialinsyntheticorganicchemistry.Theyareparticularlyinterestingduetotheiruniquereactivity,whichallowsfordiversefunctionalizationandopenuppossibilitiesforthesynthesisofcomplexmolecularstructures.Thispaperaimstoexploretheopeningreactionof2,3-epoxyketoneswithnitricoxide(NO),whichhasgainedsignificantattentioninrecentyears.Themechanism,scope,andsyntheticapplicationsofthistransformationwillbediscussed,highlightingtheimportanceandpotentialofthisreactioninthefieldoforganicsynthesis.
1.Introduction:
