Abstract:
Cachecoherenceisafundamentalchallengeinmoderncomputersystemstoensuredataconsistencyindistributedenvironmentswithmultipleprocessorsandcaches.Thispaperpresentsthedesignandverificationofabroadcast-basedcachecoherenceprotocolthataimstoprovideefficientandreliablecachecoherenceinsuchsystems.Theprotocolutilizesbroadcastmessagestofacilitatethecoordinationbetweencachesandmaintaindataconsistency.
1.Introduction(200words)
Cachecoherencereferstotheconsistencyofshareddataacrossmultiplecachesinadistributedsystemwithmultipleprocessors.Inconsistentdatacanleadtovariousissues,includingdatacorruptionandprogramerrors.Toaddressthischallenge,cachecoherenceprotocolsareemployedtoensurethatallcachesinthesystemhavethemostup-to-datevalueofashareddataitem.Inthispaper,weproposeabroadcast-basedcachecoherenceprotocolthatleveragesbroadcastmessagestoefficientlydisseminateupdatesandmaintaindataconsistency.
