Abstract:
Radongasisanaturallyoccurringradioactivegasthatposessignificanthealthrisks,mainlyduetoitspotentialtocauselungcancer.Monitoringradonconcentration,alongwithtemperatureandhumidity,iscrucialtounderstandingitspresenceandpotentialhealtheffects.Thisstudyaimstodevelopandevaluateastorageradonconcentration,temperature,andhumiditymonitortoprovidereliableandaccuratemeasurementsforindoorairqualityassessment.
Introduction:
Radongasoriginatesfromthedecayofuraniuminrocksandsoil.Itisodorless,colorless,andtasteless,makingitdifficulttodetectwithoutspecializedequipment.TheWorldHealthOrganizationhasidentifiedradonasaleadingcauseoflungcancer,withanestimated15%ofalllungcancercasesworldwidebeingassociatedwithradonexposure.
Methods:
1.Sensorselection:Anappropriatesetofsensors,includingaradondetector,temperaturesensor,andhumiditysensor,shouldbeselectedbasedonaccuracy,sensitivity,andreliability.
2.Hardwaredesign:Themonitorshouldbedesignedtocollectdatafromthesensors,processit,anddisplaytheresults.Thedesignshouldalsoconsiderfactorslikepowersupply,signalconditioning,andwirelesscommunicationcapabilities.
