Introduction:
Ad-Hocnetworkshavegainedsignificantattentioninrecentyearsduetotheirabilitytoestablishcommunicationbetweendeviceswithouttheneedforacentralizedinfrastructure.Thesenetworksareself-configuring,allowingdevicestojoinandleavethenetworkdynamically.Linux,beinganopen-sourceoperatingsystem,providesanidealplatformforsettingupandexperimentingwithAd-Hocnetworks.ThispaperaimstoexploretheprocessofbuildinganAd-HocexperimentalnetworkontheLinuxplatform.
1.Ad-HocNetworkingOverview:
TheconceptofAd-Hocnetworksinvolvesdevicesformingatemporarynetworkwithouttheneedforapre-existinginfrastructure.Eachdeviceplaysadualroleasahostandarouter,forwardingpacketstootherdevices.Thisdecentralizedapproachprovidesflexibilityandresilienceinscenarioswheretraditionalnetworksareunavailableorimpractical.
