第一篇：Obama奥巴马感恩节演讲中英对照Goodmorning.Nearly150yearsago,inoneofthedarkestyearsofournation'shistory,PresidentAbrahamLincolnsetasidethelastThursdayinNovemberasadayofThanksgiving.AmericawassplitbyCivilWar.ButLincolnsaidinhisfirstThanksgivingdecree（颁布命令）thatdifficulttimesmadeitevenmoreappropriateforourblessingstobe(andIquote),“gratefullyacknowledgedaswithoneheartandonevoicebythewholeAmericanpeople.”Thisweek,theAmericanpeoplecametogetherwithfamiliesandfriendstocarryonthisdistinctlyAmericantradition.Wegavethanksforlovedonesandforourlastingprideinourcommunitiesandourcountry.Wetookcomfortingoodmemorieswhilelookingforwardtothepromiseofchange.ButthisThanksgivingalsotakesplaceatatimeofgreattrialforourpeople.Acrossthecountry,therewereemptyseatsatthetable,asbraveAmericanscontinuetoserveinharm’swayfromthemountainsofAfghanistantothedesertsofIraq.Wehonorandgivethanksfortheirsacrifice,andstandbythefamilieswhoenduretheirabsencewithsuchdignityandresolve.Athome,wefaceaneconomiccrisisofhistoricproportions.MoreandmoreAmericansareworriedaboutlosingajobormakingtheirmortgagepayment.Workersarewonderingifnextmonth'spaycheckwillpaynextmonth'sbills.Retireesarewatchingtheirsavingsdisappear,andstudentsarestrugglingwiththecostoftuition.It'sgoingtotakeboldandimmediateactiontoconfrontthiscrisis.That'swhyI'mcommittedtoforginganewbeginningfromthemomentItakeofficeasPresidentoftheUnitedStates.Earlierthisweek,Iannouncedmyeconomicteam.ThistalentedanddedicatedgroupisalreadyhardatworkcraftinganEconomicRecoveryPlanthatwillcreateorsave2.5millionnewjobs,whilemakingtheinvestmentsweneedtofuellong-termeconomicgrowthandstability.ButthisThanksgiving,we'reremindedthattherenewalofoureconomywon'tcomefrompoliciesandplansalone.Itwilltakethehardwork,innovation,service,andstrengthoftheAmericanpeople.I'veseenthisstrengthfirsthandovermanymonths--inworkerswhoarereadytopowernewindustries,andfarmersandscientistswhocantapnewsourcesofenergy;inteacherswhostaylateafterschool,andparentswhoputinthatextrahourreadingtoth
