第一篇：英语毕业论文IntroductionIntroductionChinaisanorientedcountrywithfive-thousand-year-oldhistory,attractingtouristsfromallovertheworld.Coveringanareaof9.6milliomsquarekilometers,Chinahasabundanttourismresources,boastingofspectacularnaturalsceneriesandculturalrelics.China’stourismindustryhasundergoneanunprecedentedgrowth.AccordingtoWorldTourismOrganization(WTO)forecast,Chinaissettobecometheworld’slargesttourismdestinationandthefourthmajorsourceoftouristsby2020.Therefore,tourismhasbecomeasignificantindustryinthenationaleconomy.Aftertheopening-upandreformpolicy,ChinahasreceivedmillionsofforeignvisitorswhoareattractedbyChina’snaturallandscapeandhumanculture.TohelpforeigntouristsknowChinawellandtomakeagoodimpressiononthem,TourCommentaries,asaforciblemedium,playsanirreplaceablerolewhilethetranslationofthemisofequalimportance.Tourisalinguisticallycommunicativeactivitybetweenthetranslatorandtouristsandallkindsoflinguisticcommunicationhaveaninherentfeaturethatiscooperation.ThemostfamousandsystematicnotionofwhatlinguisticcooperationmeanisGrice’sdescriptionofsomeeffectsofcommunicativeactivities(Hickey,2001).Manytranslatorsandscholarshavecontributedtothetheoryapplyingtothetranslation.Hicky(2001)saidthattheGriceanaccountisdevelopedprimarilywithspokenconversationinmind,howeveritdoeswrittentexts,hepointedoutthatitisfeasibletoarguethatthefactoftranslationseversthisconnection,ortheverytranslationtextseverstheconnectionbetweenthewriter’sintentionsandthetarget-languagereaders’recognitionofthem.Anddomestically,DuanHaiyan(2007)andZhangJin（2008）paysmuchattentiontothefeaturesoflanguageinEnglishintroductioninherpaperwithoutclearandclassifiedtranslationmethods.OtherscholarsdiscusstranslationskillsofTourCommentariesfromdifferentangles,ChenGang(2002)pointsoutthatthetranslatorshoulddevelopcross-culturalconsciousnessinfiveaspectsandsuggestssometranslationstrategiestosolvetheproblemsinTC.ZengDan(2006)discussesthetranslationstrategiesintermsofthefunctionaltheoryandhasafurtherexplor
