Ⅰ教材分析：本节课是九年级上册，第三单元第一话题，第二课时的内容，通过Jane和她的父亲之间的对话，学习和掌握和运用生词，了解各国的官方语言，学生熟练地运用所学知识，自编对话，达到输出的目的。关于这个话题，学生们非常熟悉，有日常生活中也会遇到，怎么样用英语流利地讲出来，并且非常有礼貌地表达出来，这需要本节课去反复实践和摸索的。

Ⅱ学生分析：随着学生年龄的增加，没有象七年和八年级的学生那样，勇于回答问题，九年级的学生开始害羞，不愿意回答老师提出的问题，公开表达自己的观点，所以为了调动学生积极性，以小组比赛的形式贯穿整节课中，让学生们要为自己的小组的荣耀而努力。
