直接引语变间接引语的时态变化：

a)Lindasaid,“Iamnotthegirlyouarelookingfor.”

b)Hesaid,“Youryoungerbrotherbrokeityesterday.”
Hesaidthatmybrotherhadbrokenitthedaybefore.

注意几个问题：
a)间接引语中时态不变的情况
i.表示客观真理时
Heasked,“Whichstaristhebiggest?”
Heaskedwhichstaristhebiggest.
ii.过去完成时在间接引语中
“AnothernewhospitalhadbeenbuiltwhenIwentbacktomyhometownlastyear.”hesaid.
Heaidthatanothernewhospitalhadbeebuiltwhenhecamebacktohishometowntheyearbefore.
iii.有明显的一般过去时的状语.
LiMingsaid,“Iwasbornin1946andjoinedthearmyin1966”.
LiMingsaidthathewasbornin1946andjoinedthearmyin1966.
b)在间接引语中，要保持原来直接引语中情态动词的含义
“Imustdoitnow.”saidTom.
Tomsaidthathehadtodoitthen.
c)把否定问句变为间接引语时，用whether---ornot句式。
Hesaid,“Don’tyouknowIamoneofyou.”
Heasked(us)whetherweknowhewasoneofusornot.
d)Wouldyouplease虽然是一个问句形式，但是它表示请求，变为间接引语时去掉。
“Wouldyoupleasepassmeyourdictionary?”shesaidtome.
