Abstract:
Englishlearningmotivationplaysavitalroleindeterminingthesuccessofnon-EnglishmajorgraduatestudentsinacquiringEnglishlanguageskills.ThisstudyaimstoexplorethecorrelationbetweenemotionalfactorsandEnglishlearningmotivationamongnon-Englishmajorgraduatestudents.Theresearchfindingscanhelpeducatorsandinstitutionsbetterunderstandtheemotionalaspectsoflanguagelearningandcreateeffectivestrategiestoenhancestudents'motivation.
1.Introduction
Languagelearningmotivationhasbeenextensivelystudiedinthefieldofsecondlanguageacquisition.However,limitedresearchhasbeenconductedspecificallyontheemotionalfactorsthatcaninfluencenon-Englishmajorgraduatestudents'Englishlearningmotivation.Thisstudywillfillthisgapbyinvestigatinghowemotionalfactors,suchasanxiety,self-confidence,andenjoyment,arerelatedtoEnglishlearningmotivation.
2.LiteratureReview
Thissectionwillprovideanoverviewofpreviousstudiesexploringtherelationshipbetweenemotionalfactorsandlanguagelearningmotivation.Itwillhighlighttheimportanceofemotionalfactorsininfluencingmotivationanddiscussthetheoriesthatexplainthisconnection.
3.Methodology
Participantsinthisstudywillbenon-Englishmajorgraduatestudentsfromvariousfields.Amixed-methodsapproachwillbeemployed,involvingbothquantitativeandqualitativedatacollection.QuantitativedatawillbeobtainedthroughaquestionnairedesignedtomeasureemotionalfactorsandEnglishlearningmotivation.Qualitativedatawillbecollectedthroughinterviews,allowingforamorein-depthunderstandingofparticipants'experiencesandperspectives.
