第一篇：纽约时报：《铁甲钢拳》影评Bare-KnuckleBots,ShowingTheirMettleintheBoxingRingBySTEPHENHOLDENPublished:October6,2011Youcanonlyimaginethehyperbolicwin-winpitchfor“RealSteel”thatbroughtthisrobotboxingmovietothescreen:“Transformers”meets“E.T.”meets“Rocky”meets“TheChamp,”starringHughJackmanof“X-Men”anddirectedbythe“NightattheMuseum”hotshot,ShawnLevy.Thosearethesupposedlysurefiresellingpointsbehindthisentertaining,something-for-everyonecontrivance,setinthenearfutureandembellishedwithflagrantproductplacementforDr.Pepper.Anunderdogdramawithclangingmetal-on-metalaction,“RealSteel”feelsscientificallyprogrammedtoclawatyourheartwhileitsbattlingrobots,whichhaveasemblanceofhumanpersonality,drumupyouradrenaline.Thatsaid,I’mnotsurethatthemovieitselfhasmorethanasemblanceofaheart.Onethingmissingisagenuinelovestory,although“RealSteel”throwsinaperfunctoryromancebetweenMr.Jackman’sRockyBalboa-likecharacter,CharlieKenton,andBailey(EvangelineLilly),hisformersweetheartwhoownsaboxinggymthatdoublesasarobotworkshop.Charlieisadown-and-outformerboxerturnedsleazyfightpromoterontheundergroundrobotboxingcircuitinaworldwheremachineshavereplacedhumansasprizefightingcombatants.TheE.T.,orR2-D2character,isaslender,blue-eyedalmost-humanrobotofanearliergenerationnamedAtom,rescuedfromajunkyardandadoptedbyMax(DakotaGoyo),Charlie’sestranged11-year-oldson.AtonepointMax,avideogamemaniac,swearstohisnewtoy,“Yoursecret’ssafewithme.”Weneverlearnthatsecret,buttheboyandthemachineseemtohaveatelepathicunderstanding.CharlieisanastypieceofworkwhoreluctantlyagreestolookafterMaxaftertheboy’smotherdies.Herefusestodoso,however,untilthehusbandofMax’sAuntDeborah(HopeDavis),hisofficialcaretaker,slipshimawadofdesperatelyneededcash.Thesmart,aggressiveMaxisfuriousthathewas“sold”andgiveshisfatherahardtimeinthefirstweeksthathisguardiansareonavacationinEurope.BecauseCharlieisamuchcolderfishthanthelugsplayedbySylvesterStalloneandMickeyRourke(IwouldhavepreferredRussellCroweortheyoungerMelGibsonasCharlie),thecharacterisabit
